The 2022 Salesforce Partner Innovation Award for Healthcare & Life Science Winner

On the 12th of September, Salesforce announced their Salesforce Partner Innovation Awards, which recognize and celebrate the significant contribution that their partners have made and the impact of their work.

This year, more than 850 success stories were submitted for consideration. The winners showcased the year’s most noteworthy success stories across Salesforce’s partner ecosystem.

Across consulting firms, ISVs managed service providers, and resell partners, PwC was awarded for Healthcare & Life Science in the category of Consulting Partner Awards.

The Salesforce Partner Innovation Award for Healthcare & Life Science recognition was possible in collaboration with a multinational medical technology company in order to create a world-class omnichannel commerce experience for customers to manage their condition and improve their lives.

Taking into consideration the previous events, the creation of a customer-centric service capability to make it easier for HCPs and customers to manage their conditions, improve their lives, access and consume the client products was possible due to the partnership from the Customer Transformation Team from PwC Portugal and PwC US.

What was the problem?

The client requested PwC to improve their customer view and experience, as their agents' experience. The resolution gaps became an opportunity to expand the company's business and that of its customers/agents through:

  • Help our client to know their customers better than anyone;

  • Develop personalized, compelling ways to interact with the customers;

  • Automate client business to grow and scale;

  • Improve client agents' experience.

What did we do?

  • Build an eCommerce website that allows customers to navigate through the catalog and client information;

  • Allow customers to access their history and also update their personal information;

  • Ability to make subscriptions and manage them;

  • Digital patient intake forms to easily capture qualified leads;

  • Automated, targeted, multichannel marketing;

  • Chatbots for customers to get answers to FAQs.

How did we do it?

We used Salesforce clouds and products to grow and scale client business by syncing all the following clouds to give a 360º customer view.

  • Health Cloud;

  • Service Cloud;

  • Commerce Cloud;

  • Marketing Cloud;

  • Mulesoft;

  • Salesforce Order Management System;

  • Salesforce Payments;

  • Third-Party Vendors (Order Groove and Zenkraft).
