PwC provides access to the Banking Benchmark Outlook through the Engagement Center, a web-based platform design to collaborate and interact with the clients, in a secure and optimized environment.
The Information covered is updated according to the frequency rate of each source (annual for EBA and ECB reports, and bi-annual for the comprehensive market discipline package for banks).
The access to the tool is under an annual subscription, which includes the updates and permanente technical Support.
Banks shall have access to meaningful, structured and updated information focused on relevant KPIs, to easily observe where they stand compared with their main competitors. In this regard, Banking Benchmark Outlook takes a strong stance as a cutting-edge tool, designed to facilitate full access to relevant and up-to-date peer-to-peer information, duly organized into different sections, to take large-scale advantage of all the most significant insights.
Our methodology is based on the collection of a wide range of data, periodically released from different sources, through the use of ETL and visualization tools, namely Microsoft PowerBI and Alteryx.
Amongst the sources of information, we feed our databases with thousands of data points collected from several reports, studies and qualitative exercises, periodically released by the European Banking Authority (EBA) and the European Central Bank (ECB), as well as from the Information published by several European banks within Market Discipline framework.
The collected data is loaded, transformed and thoroughly aggregated in customized information clusters in order to provide the best visualization and comparison insights between banking peers and/or different periods of analysis.
The information provided on this platform is automatically obtained based on data periodically and publicly disclosed by the corresponding entities. This solution is for information purposes and is based on publicly available data, not representing any direct recommendation and not replacing the possible need for adequate professional judgment.
