Catarina Gonçalves has extensive experience in tax consultancy, specializing in Corporate Income Tax and International Taxation.
She works with national and multinational groups on projects related to the definition, reorganization and implementation of corporate structures and the structuring of foreign investment.
She also provides regular tax support to several clients in identifying the taxation applicable to their current operations and identifying opportunities, namely tax benefits.

Professional background
She was a founding member of the Tax Mergers & Acquisitions Team, where she worked until July 2011, managing the tax component of buy-side and sell-side transactions, having advised both corporate buyers and private equities on the various aspects of the transaction, from due diligence to integration, including negotiation.
Between July 2007 and August 2008, she was on a secondment at PwC's New York office, in the International Tax Services department.
