José Bizarro Duarte is PwC Markets Leader, responsible for liaison and market development in the PALOP countries and responsible for the Funchal office.

State recognized statutory, has large experience leading local and multinational audit assignments in a wide range of listed and non-listed companies such as Grupo Média Capital, Grupo Nabeiro, Grupo Águas de Portugal, Grupo Sousa, Electricidade da Madeira, Grupo Porto Bay, Grupo Enotel, Grupo Pragosa, Vortal, Grupo Manuel Champalimaud, amongst others. Has also worked with other relevant companies like Galp.

Involvement in several projects of International Development Aid (World Bank and AfDB) in the Lusophone countries (Angola, Cabo Verde and São Tomé and Príncipe).

Has also relevant experience in projects related to the issuance of debt and equity securities.

Certified trainer with significant experience in International Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards (IAS/IFRS), amongst other matters.
