Luís Pedro Oliveira is Legal Partner at PwC Portugal. He has dedicated his career to Corporate Law and Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A).
In the area of Corporate Law, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Luís Pedro Oliveira has actively participated in multiple Corporate and M&A transactions, including mergers, demergers, acquisitions, joint-venture agreements, shareholders agreements, disposals and reorganisations across several industry sectors, particularly financial institutions and insurance, renewable energy and real estate, distribution and logistics, hotels, health and education.
His experience also includes advice to family businesses and professionals’ partnerships notably in planning and restructuring family companies (particularly in case of generational transition), shareholders agreements and family protocols.
Before joining PwC’s Legal services since its inception (previously CCR Legal), between 2009 and 2017, he worked at the Corporate and M&A department of Garrigues (Lisbon office).
In 2017 he was seconded from Garrigues to Dechert LLP (London office), where he joined the Corporate & Securities Group.
