Nuno Martins

Nuno Martins is the Partner responsible for the Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services department.

He began his professional carrear in 1999 in the Audit department of PwC Portugal.

Between July 2004 and August 2005, he joined PwC United States (New York, conducting projects to implement the Sarbanes-Oxley Act requirements) and between September 2007 and September 2009, he joined PwC United Kingdom (in the Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services area). He was part of the Transactions Services team in Portugal involved in significant transactions in Portugal and Spain, focused on the energy sector and CIPS. In January 2014, he join and develop the Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services department, supporting companies in their relationship with the capital market, namely in IPO processes, capital raise/increase and debt issuance. He has extensive experience in assisting national and multinational clients in the issuance of equity and debt securities in financial markets in Portugal, United Kingdom, Luxembourg, Ireland. He specializes in valuing financial instruments. He advises clients in developing accounting solutions in the presence of complex transactions and in the strategic definition of financial and non-financial reporting that maximizes their value. It is also responsible for supporting the audit teams in accounting matters, reviewing impairment models, accounting for deals/ acquisitions and valuation opinions on financial instruments.
