Raquel Moura Tavares is a Legal Manager Lawyer of PwC Portugal in the Labour Law Practice Area.
Raquel Moura Tavares has been dedicating her career to Labour, Social Security, and Sports Law, providing legal advice to national and multinational clients in both consultancy and labour and administrative (with Social Security and Portuguese Labour Authority) litigation.
Providing services to companies across various economic sectors, Raquel Moura Tavares has practical experience in negotiating and drafting documents to support the formation, execution and termination of employment contracts, namely at senior executive levels, managing disciplinary procedures, overseeing human resources restructuring procedures, conducting labour due diligence in the context of corporate operations, as well as implementing mechanisms to reduce costs, optimize working time and establish compensation and benefit systems.
Additionally, she has been providing training in labour law and actively working in collective dismissals and redundancies, transfer of undertaking processes (TUPE), layoffs as well as in immigration related issues (regarding the processes of hiring and legalizing foreign citizens to work in Portugal).
Before joining PwC’s Legal services (previously CCR Legal), Raquel was a Senior Associate Lawyer at the Labour Department of PRA, Raposo, Sá Miranda e Associados, S.P., R.L.
