Rita Maria Pereira is Senior Manager in the Forensic Services area of the Advisory department.
Rita Maria Pereira has been leading the AML/CFT & Sanctions team of experts on all projects in this matter in Portugal, Angola and Cape Verde and working with different client segments such as, banks and credit institutions and insurance companies.
The projects led by Rita are mainly focused on: (i) auditing the AML/CFT & Sanctions systems in order to assist the Administrative and Supervisory Boards of institutions; (ii) gap analysis and development of roadmap to address the gaps identified; (iii) support the clients’ AML/CFT & Sanctions remediation plan according to the regulator’s demands; (iv) design and implement AML/CFT & Sanctions systems and (v) provide AML/CFT & Sanctions training sessions.
