This document, "Recreational Boating in Portugal – A Perspective on Demand", aims to give structured information about the annual flow of check-ins in Portuguese marinas and harbours (national and regional data), average financial information and the results of a survey on how much progress marinas and harbours in Portugal have to make in order to achieve the best results at an international level. This paper sets out to make a contribution related to the provision of information on the choices by sailors and the impacts of those choices on Portuguese marinas and harbours.
