Understand, ideate and define: UX, UI and Workflow
Working together we describe the possible interactions users can have with the solution, what the information flow looks like and what are the expected outputs and reports.
We then prioritize by business value, tackling first the most valuable items.
UX = User Experience - Mockups depicting the navigation flow and major information areas and interactions
UI = User Interface - Mockups with the actual look & feel the solution will have
Estimate and Plan
We estimate the effort and cost associated with the build.
We then draft a plan outlook, setting milestones, releases and target dates.
Iterative Build and Test
Build is done in short cycles. Each cycle ends with a show&tell session. The feedback is then incorporated in the following development cycles.
Testing is done within every development cycle, and also a full test battery before each release.
